I am borrowing this from [livejournal.com profile] honeynoir  just because I found her answers fascinating and because it's a handy way to have all my fic from this year in one handy dandy location.

January:
Ginny Potter and The Boy Who Lived Harry/Ginny 53,781 words (so far).  I almost didn't put this here because I never finished it.  It lies abandoned as of February last year and I don't know if I'll ever finish it, so it embarrasses me as an unfinished thing just sitting there ...

February:
Whispers from the Past. Harry/Ginny, Neville/Hannah 1,626 words
Stag Night (with [livejournal.com profile] ginevrawp )Harry/Ginny 999 words

March:
Pickled Dreams Harry/Ginny 3,262 words
Girls Are a Different Sort of Different (has several parts, all linked at the bottom of each chapter) Harry/Ginny 20,000-ish words (this was technically written in 2009, just posted in 2010)
It's Just a Memory Harry/Ginny 613

April:
Posted more of Girls Are a Different Sort of Different
Rebuilding the Past Harry/Ginny 11,000-ish words

May:
Finished posting Girls Are a Different Sort of Different (man, I dragged that out!)
In Sickness and Health Ten/Rose 2,585 words
Breaking and Entering Harry/Ginny 1,460

June:
The Boy Who Waited Amy/Rory 2,179 words

July:
A Lesson in Personal Safety Amy/Rory 2,589 words
The Edge of Sanity Amy/Rory 4,585 words

August:
Always Bad News Amy/Rory 3,104 words
Electricity Amy/Rory 990 words
Her Celebrity Neville/Hannah 1,835 words

September:
Yeah, September was a bad month; let's just move along ...

October:
How to Tell a Scary Story Harry/Ginny 1,126 words

November:
I was focused on NaNoWriMo this month, so no fic was forthcoming.

December:
A Pukeko in a Ponga Tree Amy/Rory 100 words
Two Kumara Harry/Ginny 200 words
Three Flax Kits Amy/Rory 300 words
Four Huhu Grubs Harry/Ginny 400 words
Five Big Fat Pigs Amy/Rory 500 words
Six Poi A-Twirling Harry/Ginny 600 words
Seven Eels A-Swimming Amy/Rory 600 words
Eight Plants of Puha Harry/Ginny 500 words
Nine Sacks of Pipi Amy/Rory 400 words
Ten Juicy Fish Heads Harry/Ginny 300 words

There were supposed to be 12 of these but I ... uh ... didn't quite finish the last 2. whoops.

Looking back, did you write more fics than you thought you would this year, less than you thought, or about what you predicted?
There definitely seems to be more there than I remember doing.  Considering that I have basically taken 3 months out from fic (September to November) it's a lot more than I thought I would have done.

What pairing/genre/fandom did you write that you would never have predicted in January 2010?
Amy/Rory for sure.  I never expected to be as invested in that pairing as I have become.  It had always been harry/Ginny for me and I hadn't expected to find another pair that I am equally passionate about and that I actually itched to write fic for.

What’s your favorite story this year? Not the most popular, but the one that makes you the happiest.
Probably 'Pickled Dreams' - the idea just clicked with me and I really like the result.  I don't like it as much as many of the ones I wrote in 2009 but of all the ones I did this year it's probably my favourite.

Okay, NOW your most popular story.
Hmm, well if we include fanfiction.net in this then it's definitely 'Ginny Potter and The Boy Who Lived' - which is another reason I feel bad for not writing more of it.  I still get messages and comments asking when I'm adding more.

Story most underappreciated by the universe?
Ahahaha, I don't know.  Maybe 'The Edge of Sanity'.  I slaved my guts out on that thing and while it's not as perfect as I'd like, it hasn't been read as much as I would have liked given the sweat I poured into it. This is entirely my own fault for not posting it many places, but still ...

Story that could have been better?
All of them? I always see things that don't work for me if I go back and re-read later (one major reason why I seldom do that), but the [livejournal.com profile] she_is_to_me  challenge fics all sort of ran out of time to fiddle more before the deadlines so I guess all of those ones.

Sexiest story?
Erm ... I can't bring myself to do sexy in fic.  Original fiction, yes; fic no ... dunno why.

Story with single sweetest moment?
Ummmm, I can't really remember.  This is the curse of not reading things over again.  I'm sure there are some, I just can't recall where they are.

Saddest story?
'Whispers From the Past' - it's the only one that really touches on anything sad, as far as I can recall.  I think I got a lot of my angst out in 2009 and most of what I have written in 2010 was a lot chirpier.  Some of GPaTBWL is really sad and angsty but most of those bits were written and posted in 2009 as well.

Hardest story to write?
Tie between 'In Sickness and Health' because I had never written TV characters before and it was incredibly hard to get the words right and 'How to Tell a Scary Story' because that was the first thing I forced myself to write after the weeks of apathy and writer's block post-quake.

Easiest story to write?
'The Boy Who Waited' - the first half of the final two parter from season 5 of Doctor Who traumatised me into writing fic and it just poured out. Rory was just sitting there waiting to be written and I loved every second of that experience.

Most overdue story?
Ahem - that would be GPaTBWL.  It's not overdue for any fest or anything (I always finish those ones) but for the people who want to read it it's been almost 11 months since I wrote it.  Whoops.

Most fun story?
Probably 'How to Tell a Scary Story' - it's just a silly piece with Harry and Ginny having fun teasing Teddy.

"Holy crap, that's wrong, even for you" story:
I don't think there is one.  That's very sad - I shall have to rememdy that by writing something completely off the wall and silly this year!

Story that shifted your own perceptions of the characters:
None of them really.  If any it would be one of the Amy/Rory ones, but even with them I have the characters pretty well nailed down as to how I perceive them.

Biggest surprise:
Erm ... actually writing something other than H/G and really enjoying it.  So I guess that would be 'The Boy Who Waited'

Most unintentionally revealing story:
'The Edge of Sanity' - and I'm not explaining why, though there are one or two people out there who know :D

Did you take any writing risks this year? What did you learn from them?
Yes, I branched out a bit with some writing styles, especially in 'Electricity' and while they may not have been entirely successful I like the experiments and way I can play around with words a bit more, especially in the shorter one shots.

Do you have any fanfic goals for the New Year?
Keep writing.  I am really focused on finishing my NaNo story so in order to not lose sight of fandom I plan to do a few fests and things this year just to keep me involved.  I'm particularly looking forward to [livejournal.com profile] takingitinturns.  I really enjoyed doing that one last year.
